Chocolate Fondue
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream (no, you cannot substitute half and half or skim milk)
- 1 pound semi-sweet chocolate. Don’t scrimp on this.
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur.
- Fruit: strawberries, pineapple, bananas, etc.
Method:
In a heavy sauce pan, bring the heavy whipping cream to a boil. Remove from heat and add the chocolate. Whisk until smooth. Add the coffee liqueur and whisk together and pour into a small fondue pot. Keep warm with candle or heat source.
Serve with at least three types of fruit, sliced or bite sized.
