While I detest Hulu Plus and the WATCH ABC app, I really, really do like HBO GO on my Apple TV.
I can watch pretty much any HBO original program from their entire library and a current selection of movies. There are no commercials. It’s terrific.
I would love it and recommend it without reservation if they would only allow direct subscription to HBO GO without requiring me to have both a cable TV subscription AND a subscription to HBO.
Let me be clear: I’d PAY them. Please let me pay you, HBO!
And I believe that millions, yes millions of other people who DO NOT currently subscribe to their cable network would also gladly pay them.
But they do not allow this. And so I cannot recommend it.
Such a shame.
